Early Victorian hairstyling

Today we did our first Victorian hairstyle that represented the very early years. I didn't find the hairstyle really complicated as then was a period when elaborated hairstyles weren't that in fashion and it wasn't that hard to create because I also did it on my Kate head. I could have done the bun at the back better though, but maybe it didn't look that good because I haven't done hair in a while.

PRODUCTS USED:

  • Hairspray.

TOOLS USED:

  • Pintail comb;
  • Hairpins.

HOW TO:

  1. Create a centre parting;
  2. Separate the sides of the hair until you reach the ears;
  3. Create a bun at the back;
  4. Plait the hair starting from the ears backwards to create a loop where the ears can show;
  5. Pin the plaits at the back, with the bun;
  6. Apply hairspray.

MY RESULTS:
