Yesterday I have wrote about my ideas of developing two characters inspired by a TV series. Well, I've looked again at the story and although I really like it and it would be good, I think that it's not so representative of the TV series as the TV series is more reality-like and there is not so much spooky, supernatural stuff but more criminal investigations etc etc. So I have thought about re-writing the story in a different manner to fit with the TV series style as well.
Actually that's the primary reason why I have chosen it, because I didn't know that I was capable imagining and actually sleeping after so much supernatural stuff going on in my head. So yeah, because it was more easy to watch considering this perspective.
The action is taking place in Miami and everything seems to be pretty normal until we get into Dexter's head and see how he really is like.

Moodboard for Dorian Gray updated

Because I've changed my mind and I'm no longer going to recreate Dorian as he was in the end in the portrait, old, ugly and scarred, I thought that a new moodboard will help others (and me also) figure out better how I'm trying to recreate his look from the book.
Although I have some pictures with Dorian here with brown hair, I will look for a model with blonde hair because I want to recreate the character exactly as he was portrayed in the book.
My Dorian Gray will be a handsome young man with blonde hair and beautiful, clean compexion, with his hair parted on the sides (not sure yet though).

So that's the first moodboard I made to present the mood and essence of my chosen character. Being the first moodboard I made it is not very specific as I didn't really know what I was going to do and I oscillate between making him really monstruous and changed, as he should have been after he destroyed his portrait, or make him as he was transitioning so I can incorporate some speciall effects stuff into his look as well.

I will plan everything and give more details in another post that will be with the face charts too.
